Top 5 Best CDs (In My Library) To Listen To On Skullcandy

I know, I know. My first review isn't even a game, but I'm going to expand my horizons on this blog, and I just got a new pair of Skullcandy for Christmas, so I've been listening to a lot of music lately. I decided I would hop on here and give my opinion on the top 5 CDs that I love listening to on my new, sound enhancing headphones. (Note: I have a really weird taste in music. CDs on this list range from Classic Rock to Rap.)

V.
Artist: Silversun Pickups
Album: Carnavas
Silversun Pickups is one of my favorite bands and their debut CD is even better on Skullcandy. You can hear every thrashy guitar riff and effect in awesome clarity, and it makes for a wonderful experience for the ears. I adore pretty much every song on this album, but if you have to choose one, go with "Lazy Eye". It's the classic that introduced me to this wonderful band.

IV.
Artist: The Beatles
Album: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
This album has a really freaking long title, but don't let that scare you away from it. It's a classic and there is only one song on it that I don't like. On Skullcandy, the sound effects and bass strums are amplified to become a buffet of awesome. Some of my favorites from this album include "Getting Better", "With A Little Help From My Friends", and "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds", but they're all good.

III.
Artist: Kid Cudi
Album: Man On The Moon: The End Of The Day
Kid Cudi is one of my favorite rap artists. I love his combination of sweet beats and catchy tunes. I also like his trippy, Pink Floyd-esque effects and drug-like quality. On Skullcandy, the bass beats are made amazing. Every time I listen to "Day N Nite" it almost blows my brain out with pure awesome. My favorites on this CD are "Day N Nite", "Make Her Say", "Sky Might Fall", and "Up, Up, And Away (The Wake And Bake Song)".

II.
Artist: 3OH!3
Album: Want
3OH!3 became a household name this year with their hit "Don't Trust Me". But the album it comes from is battling with Cudi's for my best CD of the year. Want is amazing, but it is ten times better on Skullcandy. The heavy beats and NES like background music is mind numbingly and undescribably amazing. You have to experience this CD to understand how awesome it is. Some of my favorites are "Don't Trust Me", "Starstrukk", "I'm Not Your Boyfriend, Baby", and "Colorado Sunrise".

I.
Artist: Pink Floyd
Album: Dark Side Of The Moon
Pink Floyd is by far my favorite band of all time. And their infamous Dark Side Of The Moon has become a classic of American rock albums. It still deserves its place at the top thanks to the fact that even the all instrumental songs are wonderfully written and will make you want to listen to them over and over again. This is one of those CDs that gets unusable because it gets worn down from being played so much. (Unless you're my Co-writer, Chris, who thinks that Pink Floyd is boring.) On Skullcandy the experience is made even better. The songs are crisp and wonderful in quality and you can hear every sound effect in an amplified tone, from the low, pounding heartbeats in the opening and closing of the album to the quiet mumbling of random British people. All in all, this is a CD that must be experienced. There is not one song that I don't like on it.

Well, there it is. If you have any ideas for other CDs I should have considered for this list, leave a comment.

"Grand Theft Auto: Vice City" (PC)

Well, here's my first review. You're probably wondering why I picked this game, but you aren't writing the review, are you? I'm reviewing GTA and you are going to like it. Now that's over with, let's get this show on the road.

Okay then, Grand Theft Auto Vice City. Let me get this off my chest, it isn't perfect like everyone says Grand Theft Auto games are. One thing that really stands out to me in this game is that it is insanely funny. There is so much to do and that just leads to more to laugh about. This open-world game doesn't lack stuff to do, there is a lot to do in free-roam, and then the missions are fairly straight forward and fun. On the down side graphics aren't perfect and the performance lacks here and there. But overall this is a really good game.

Pros:
Funny
Lots to do
Addicting

Cons:
Graphics aren't what they could be
Performance lags at times (This can be resolved with a better computer)

Achievements: Addicting, Hilarious, Good Voice Acting, Good Music, Good Controls.

Chris: 4.5/5

"Nuclear Launch Detected." I mean, "New Author Detected."

So, I've allowed my friend to post on this blog. His name is Chris. Try not to be too mean to him. He has low self esteem issues.

Welcome.

Well, here it is. My reviews blog. I'm assuming that there will be no readers other than my mom, so I really have no idea why I'm writing this garbage. Whatever. I'll post reviews whenever I feel like. And if a rift in the universe causes there to be more than two people visiting this site, I'll think about setting a specific day of the week or month to post my reviews.
